Dr. Jeremy Wearne brings over 28 years of clinical expertise to the HKVUS team. Originally from Namibia, Jeremy’s path to veterinary medicine was fueled by a lifelong passion for animal welfare.

After graduating from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, he began his career in a high-stakes environment: serving as the lead veterinarian for landmine-detection canine units in Angola.

Since relocating to Hong Kong nearly three decades ago, Dr. Wearne has dedicated himself to advancing his clinical skills through extensive post-graduate study. He holds a prestigious Membership in Small Animal Medicine (MANZCVS) and has pursued advanced training in Cardiology, Abdominal and Cardiac Ultrasonography, Ophthalmology, Oncology, and Emergency & Critical Care. This diverse diagnostic background allows him to manage complex cases with a comprehensive, evidence-based approach.
