Dr Inma Cerrada graduated from the Cardenal Herrera-CEU University of Valencia (Spain), followed by a rotating internship (general) at the Fregis Referral Hospital in Paris (France), and a second rotating internship in small animal surgery at the National Veterinary University of Nantes (France).

After a number of years working in UK in general practice, she returned to Valencia where she worked as a lecturer of Internal Medicine department at the Veterinary Faculty (Cardenal Herrera-CEU University), whilst performing a PhD in myocardial infarction and stem cells therapy (awarded with honours in 2012).

Inma then completed a Master of Veterinary Medicine, while completing her ACVIM residency in cardiology (in 2018-2021) at the Royal Veterinary College of London (UK). She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, Specialist in Cardiology in July 2022.

Inma is thrilled to be able to assist the HKVUS/SVI teams with internal consultations, referral case reviews and staff training since September this year and we are very excited to have her on board!
