Mobile Ultrasound Services

As very first mobile ultrasound services founded in Hong Kong, HKVUS has been providing referral mobile ultrasound services, as well as professional ultrasound training to all veterinarians since 2013. At HKVUS, we are here to support veterinarians with their ultrasound needs while they stay in-charge and manage their cases.

In June 2022, co-founder Dr. Myriam Baranger-Ete, DVM EMSAVM MRCVS, together with her partner Dr Jennifer Kan, BSc, BVMS, FANZCVS (Veterinary Radiology), cert IVUSS, MVS, MVSc, have resumed management of HKVUS service and merged it with their referral service in Singapore, Singapore Veterinary Imaging.

After four years of working in Australia, and 20 years working in Hong Kong beforehand, are thrilled to back and very much looking forward the working again closely with all Hong Kong veterinarians and could not more grateful to clients for trust and loyalty.

HKVUS only uses high specification portable ultrasound units in order to provided veterinarians with nothing but the best quality diagnostics images. Our ultrasonographers are very experienced and dedicated. They are happy to share their skills and scanning experience to help veterinarians manage their cases at best.

Hong Kong Mobile Ultrasound’s large network of Boarded specialist consultants can also assist for second opinions would it required or requested.

We perform abdominal, cardiac and small parts ultrasound for Small Animals and Exotics. We believe that continuity of diagnostics and treatment within the same facility is critical and therefore are bringing both abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography to the veterinarians in charge ‘ premises.

We can also assist with ultrasound guided procedures:

• Pericardiocentesis (*)
• Thoracocentesis
• Abdominocentesis
• Gallbladder aspirate for culture
• Cystocentesis
• Pyelocentesis for culture
• Ultrasound guided Fine needle aspirates or biopsies

Without inconvenience and discomfort of mobilizing patients endeavor, we commit to promptly accommodate your booking and provide full written Ultrasound reports to the referring veterinarian within 24 hours.

Thanks to DrView Platform, veterinary clinics can directly book online and veterinarians can access their patient’s images and reports via clinic’s online accounts.
